Mission
Our mission at Sasha Awesome Tutoring is to offer academic support for
our students in the Baltimore city and surrounding counties. Helping them meet academic challenges, while building confidence with individualized learning steps for each student. Our purpose is to offer a safe learning environment for students after school, where they can complete homework and engage in academic opportunities including one on one and group tutoring sessions in mathematics and language arts. Offering these resources will help students improve and maintain school attendance, academic achievement, and attitudes towards learning.
Together Try
Independent
We use a TTI (Together Try Independent) setting to ensure students understand the material. We work Together, covering steps, defining terms, and reviewing examples. Next is Try, where students are to try and complete work with minimum prompting. Lastly, Independent students will complete an exit ticket to ensure they grasp and understand the material thoroughly.
We do follow the common core guidelines when covering material.
